What makes a world feel like itself?
For the upcoming Harry Potter experience at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, we were asked to imagine a landing page that could build anticipation and encourage visitors to register for updates.
We started by looking past the familiar symbols and into the rules of the Wizarding World itself. Moving portraits. Animated newspapers. Hidden passages. Flying objects. Spaces that rarely behave as expected.
The opportunity was not just to borrow its imagery, but to understand how the world behaves.

Borrowing the physics, not just the imagery.
That became the idea behind the experience.
Instead of recreating what visitors would eventually see inside the attraction, we imagined what a digital presence from that world might feel like.
A broom moves through the hero. Galleries shift as if the visitor is flying between them. Photography becomes moving image. Transitions feel spatial rather than simply navigational.
The interface became an extension of the world, built around its movement as much as its visual language.

Becoming part of the world.
The experience continued beyond the landing page.
At the attraction, visitors could capture a short moving portrait. Online, those portraits would appear inside a shared gallery inspired by the framed portraits lining the walls of Hogwarts.
What begins as a page introducing the experience becomes a place where its visitors can leave something behind.
